For the USA, the European Commission adopted a news adequacy decision on 10 July 2023. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Framework. Since Google servers are distributed worldwide and a transfer to third countries (for example to Singapore) cannot be completely ruled out, we have also concluded the EU standard contractual clauses with the provider to establish an appropriate level of data protection in those countries.

Personal Data
Personal data that you send us with your application for our cadet programme. This can be name, e-mail address and possibly other data voluntarily provided by you.

Decision on your acceptance into our cadet programme.
Legal Reason
Art. 88 GDPR in connection with sec. 26 BDSG, Art. 6 para 1 letter a GDPR and (if any) your consent in a longer storage period of your application
Recipient of Data
Crew Management Department and the Manning Agency which acts for us as our Data Processor at your home location.
On the basis of your express consent, we will forward your personal data to other companies participating in our Döhle Cadet Programme.
Storage Period
- If you are accepted into our cadet programme: 10 years after the end of your employment with us.
- If we refuse your application: 6 months upon the refusal (unless you have consented to a longer storage period)
- The proceeding of your data is necessary for the decision of your employment. The agreement upon an employment contract is only possible if you provide us your personal data.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data:
- Confirmation of your personal data being processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Correction of wrong data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Deletion, if legally permissible (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Reception of personal data being provided by you in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format (Art. 20 GDPR)

Some procession procedures are based on your consent (such as the handling of your request and the storage of your application for more than 6 months). In said cases, you are entitled to withdraw your consent at any time for the future.
